savannah was a very special little girl. i had to have a c-section with her. when the doctor cut her
out of me her father was able to hold just for a min the nurse took her off of him becuase their
was something wrong with her they couldnt get her to cry then she start turn blue and gray looking
so they took her to the nursey see what was happpin the doctor had done what he can do for her then
the dr came in to my room and told me that they have to life fright her done to children hopsital
but he dont know which one to send her to herseys children hospital or pittisburgh children hospital
and i told him it would be faster to life fright her to pittsburgh childrens hospital becuase
pittsburgh i closer and it would be easy frommy family to get then so they life fright her done to
pittsburgh but has they were she code it over and over but the finly arrived with at childrens
hospital well the mean time i was still in johnstown her father paul and my dad and and my brother
and sister went down to pittsburgh to be with savannah bit ah i was down there the very nexts day
becuase i told the doctor that i rather be there then here so the doctor down at childrens did many
teates on her and they had find that she was not getting enough oxyen to body she had transposition
of the great arteries.
what is transposition of the great arteries? The heart pumps the blood in the two arteries -
the aorta which supplies the pure blood to the body and the pulmonary artery that supplies impure
blood to the lungs. Normally the pulmonary artery arises from the right ventricle (right side of
heart) and aorta arises from the left ventricle (left side of heart). In TGA, the aorta arises from
the right ventricle and pulmonary artery arises from the left ventricle. Thus, in TGA, impure blood
that returns to the right ventricle instead of going to the lungs passes into the aorta and back to
the body. Also pure blood that comes from the lungs in the left ventricle goes back to the lungs
through the pulmonary artery. As a result every organ of the body receives less oxygen and the
patient looks "blue" due to less oxygenated blood. he doctors had her on echo machine to keep her
alive but they also say that she cant survive on that mechine and had other machine on her a well
then one day the doctor came to us and say that she needs sugry to fix the problem with her heart
and at the same time the doctor said that sugry may not work for her so he told it was up to us. so
we all agred to do they sugry that she need know it may not work so the doctor didthe sugry and she
come out of sugry it was couple day until we new that the sugry work and it did work so the doctor
was amze how she was doing then one day her kiddney had stop working because of the lack of oxyen
that her body had so they had put her on dialysis the first one they tryed was hemodialysis were
your blood is sent through a filter that removes waste products. The clean blood is returned to your
body. Hemodialysis is usually performed at a were they filter her blood but it dont work her so they
try peritoneal dialysis she was the first infant that they had try this on and worked for her and
then i was albe to hold savannah for the first time she was almosttwo month old was able hold her
because was doing so well. then one day her kiddney started to work she was peaing again so they
toke of the machine and the only machine she has was a feeding tube after 111/2 weeks we able to
being her home from the hospital i was glad to be home and to have her home so thing were going good
she just to be fed by gtube that was in her stomach the doctors where so amse how she had come so
far because they thought that she would just be like vegetable but she was not because i work with
her all the time. she had her first birthday at pappy's pizza place there was over 200 hundred
people there, and she was her for secod and trd birthday and she was here to see her brother logen
rylie cominsky be born she was proud to be the big sister to him savannah said that her brother
logen was her sunshine and she would sing to him that hes her sunshine on monday june 16 2008 was my
worst day of my life becuase savannah had pasted away but that day she was with her aunt and uncle
ma at their house playing with her cousin brianna there daughter had asked her parent have theyed
seen savannah andthey said no so they stop what they were doing to look for her they had find her in
there swing pool coner said that she had climb up the side of their pool. there was no water in her
lung so she didnt dorwn she had a big heart attack that want had killed her. savannah was just
three year old when she past away.savannah was a true mircale.
She has brought joy and happeiness to many people and she had the most beautiful smile and
blue eyes. Her emotions were always shown in her eyes. when she pasted it was worst day of are
lives such a beautiful praise litle angle thats now sleeping with the other angels. now we sit here
wishing to hold you and tell you that we love you so much savannah right now. we will never stop
thinking about you. when the other angels came to took you home that day they took my heart and
soul with them. now you sleep tight mine praise angel until we meet again darling we love you so
much lots of hugs and kisses for our praise litleangel

no thoughts to ease our pain
no simple way to say goodbye
and go on with life again
Nothing can begin to fill
the emptiness inside

Yet time will bring it's healing touch
and slowly make a start

On Mother's Day xxx
I thought of you and closed my eyes, And prayed to God today.
I asked what makes a Mother, And I know I heard him say:
A mother has a baby, This we know is true.
But, God, can you be a mother, When your baby's not with you?
Yes, you can He replied, With confidence in His voice.
I give many women babies, When they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime, And others for a day.
And some I send to feel your womb, But there's no need to stay.
I just don't understand this God, I want my baby here.
God took a breath and cleared his throat, And wiped away his tear.
'I wish that I could show you, What your children are doing today,
If you could see your babies smile, With other children who say':
We go to earth and learn our lessons, Of love and life and fear.
My mummy loved me oh so much, I got to come up here.
I feel so lucky to have a mum, Who had so much love for me.
I learned my lessons very quickly, My loved one's set me free.
I miss my mummy oh so much, But I visit her each day.
When she goes to sleep, On her pillow's where I lay.
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek, And whisper in her ear.
'Mummy don't be sad today, I'm your baby and I'm here.'
So you see my dear sweet one, Your children are Ok.
Your babies are here in My home, They'll be at heavens gate for you.
So now you see what makes a mother. It's the feeling in your heart.
It's the love you had so much of, Right from the very start.
Though some on earth may not realize you are a mother, until their time is done.
They'll be up here with me one day, And you'll know that you're the best one!xxx
